Herman passed away at home at the age of 80.
He was born in Bavaria, Germany and moved as a toddler to Paraguay, South America. At age 11 he came to Canada with his grandparents, parents and his brother Helmut and sister Ag. Jake, his younger brother was born in Canada.
Herman was a hard worker at home and on the job. He worked in logging camps with Rainier and then with Finning for 35 years as a heavy duty mechanic.
He is mourned by his wife Kathie, his daughter Robyn and his son Michael. Herman loved and was proud of both his children. His 7 grandchildren will miss their Opa, as will 2 stepdaughters, Kendra and Shannon, other family members and many good friends.
Herman was deeply loved and is irreplaceable.
