Peacefully in Victoria after a full and rewarding life. Daughter of the late Lydia and Charles Gauld, loving sister of Jean (Jack) Randle and Ruth (Ralph) Miller. Best mother in the whole world for her three “girls” Ruth, Meribeth, and Pat, loving grandmother of Emily and Andrew, and great grandmother of Mackenzie and Charley Grace.
Mum lost her beloved Mike in 2005 after nearly 58 years of marriage. Together they had travelled extensively creating many wonderful memories that Mum cherished. A bit of a free spirit, Mum was always ready for an adventure and never hesitated to set off with Dad and the girls to explore. She was also a great cook and believed strongly in the benefits of nutritious meals. Her love and support for her family were never ending – she was always there for each of us.
We wish to sincerely thank all the incredible staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Victoria for the loving and compassionate care they gave Mum over the past several years. That care was exemplary and most appreciated by our family.
There will not be a service based on her wishes. In lieu of flowers, please consider supporting the Canadian Cancer Society or Literacy Victoria. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Jill Kilburn Ruth: So sorry to read of your loss. You were fortunate to be able to spend so many years with both your mother and father in Victoria. If you are ever back east we would love to see you, think of you often. We live in Portland full time now that Arthur is retired. Take care old friend.
