Anne & family: my deepest condolences to you in the loss of Jack. I worked for him at one of my first jobs in Thompson in the law firm. Nobody looked after his staff better, was so organized and to top it off had such a great sense of humor! We had the best Xmas and staff parties out at your cabin and he treated everyone so well. I think of those Thompson days often and was lucky to have worked for such a great man.

    Anne and family.
I worked for Jack for many years in his office in Thompson. He left myself and the other staff that worked there at the time very sorry to see him become a judge and leave us. These were some of my very best memories of working in Thompson for Jack and Murray. He was fun, kind and an all around great boss and person.
Please accept my most sincere condolences

Anne, John, Kim, Maeve (and all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren):

Iris and I mourn with you, and all of those that survive him, the loss of Jack. He was a great Judge and an outstanding man. I have no doubt the tributes to him will pour in and every accolade he receives is well deserved.

We simply cannot get to Victoria to be with you. We are sorry and apologize but hope you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and will be especially with you tomorrow at 11. Anne, when we get to Victoria next, we will come visit if that is acceptable.

As noted in the material we will be sending a donation to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Jack’s name. There can be no words that truly express our sorrow or that will really soothe the pain of your loss. But know always that the entire community of people that knew you all, and especially Jack, are here for and with you.

If there is anything we can do please just ask.

All of our best and love,

    David and Iris Gray
