It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jaime Pacheco Amaral on September 13, 2012, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on July 20, 1935 in Azores, Portugal, then moved to Brazil in 1958 where he and his loving wife lived and raised their family for 16 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years Maria; his children Sueli, Delson and Marco (Terryl); his 5 grandchildren Denise, Jennifer, Cheyenne, Tyler and Noah who were the light of his eyes, and many family and friends.

tina Sending my love and prayers to denise and jen and your whole family. Your grandpa was a wonderful man. He will be missed.

Dear Senhora Maria, Sueli, Delson, Marco & Family
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Senhor Jaime. I am in shock that he has gone home so quickly to be with God. He was a very kind and wonderful man, which I have known since I was a little girl. He has been a wonderful friend to my father for many years, showing him kindness and respect. He was the meaning of a true friend. You and your family were very lucky to have had such a wonderful man to call your husband and for your children to call a father. He loved his grandchildren, he loved talking about all of them. The world has lost another angel, please accept my condolences for your loss and may God watch over you and your family at this time.
I am very honoured to have met and know Senhor Jaime. Our community has suffered a terrible loss. Going to church on Sunday will not be the same without seeing his bright happy face.
God Bless you and your family.
Love,
Nelia Galego-Jerome
