I was heartbroken to learn of Jimmy’s death. I had the pleasure of working with him on several ship building and repair industry training projects over the past few years. I will always remember his thoughtful and respectful contributions during our meetings. His wry sense of humour took the edge off many otherwise serious discussions. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Sincere condolences to Jimmy’s family.
Our sympathies and prayers to you Helen and the family.
Jim is remembered by us for his love of life, his faith and courage.
Our thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and more than anything I wish there was something I could say to take away the pain you are feeling.
I hope that the wonderful memories you have of your dad/husband/father in law/ grandfather give you strength that you need to get through this difficult time. Please know that he is ALWAYS with you.
Wishing you all peace, love and healing.
My sincere condolences to all who loved Jim. I had the privilege of meeting him only once but he left a lasting impression on me. When he told me he would add me to his daily prayer list I felt gratitude and comfort because I could tell that Jim was a man of his word. May the God of All Comfort make His presence known to you as you grieve the loss of this loyal, loving and godly man. Psalm 147:3
Dad you are one of the bravest peole I know. We had some difficult conversations near the end that I will forever be greatful for. Your strength through this journey was incredible. You were amazing right to the end, never letting on how sick you must have been. Rest in peace. I love you. I bet heaven is just like you described and more.

Dear Helen, Debra, Gary & Family
It has been a pleasure to have known and worked so closely with Jimmy for the past 21 years.
Jimmy worked at Nicholson Manufacturing Ltd. for 15 years and was a good Shop Steward representing the members of the Boilermakers Local 191. He was the Business Manager of the Boilermakers Local 191 for the past 6 years. During the 21 years I have known Jimmy, I would say that his first priority was to look after his members. There were many challenges and he always dealt with them to the best of his ability and for the best interest of his members.
Jimmy has a kind heart, compassionate and had a good sense of humour. He loved his family and his two granddaughters were his pride and joy.
Rest in peace Jimmy. I will miss you.
With sincerest condolences from the family,
Love, Bonnie
Jim was one of the kindest and bravest men I have had the pleasure of knowing. He never failed to lighten up a room or put a person at ease. He was early for every appointment but waited patiently until you were ready. He spoke respectfully of everyone and always saw the positive in all situations. I felt honoured to know him and will miss him deeply.
I look at Jim’s picture and I see an amazing father, husband, grandfather and friend. His laugh was contagious. He brought so much joy to all those that were lucky enough to spend time with him. I feel blessed to be one of those people.
Deb, Scott & girls, along with Helen, Gary and Jo-Anne, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sending all our love to help you get through this difficult time.
