Jim was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on November 7, 1917. He passed away peacefully on Friday May 7, 2010 at the age of 92 years.

He is survived by his loving wife Marion; sons Walt; Rick (Carolyn); Barry (Fay); grandchildren Jennifer, Mike, Eric, and Jordan; great-grandchildren Joshua, Justin and Sunnie-Rose.

He belonged to the Masonic Order for 66 years, Past Master for Nechako Lodge #86 and a member of United Service Lodge #24. Jim ran the power plant in Prince George in the late 40’s and early 50’s. He was a businessman until his retirement in 1966. Jim loved his wife dearly and was a family man, taking great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jim enjoyed people’s company and was a friend to all.
