  1. My deepest sympathy to Jim’s family in his loss.
Although I have not been in contact with him since the mid 70’s, he is still very much remembered for his kindness and great personality. The initial connection was through Victoria Paving (we had a gravel truck/ski shop in those days) and had the good fortune to be invited to ski @ Whistler one fine weekend together with my family.
    He will never be forgotten.

  2. Dear Kathi,
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time with the loss of Jim. Jim and I were pretty close in the 1980s/90s, heading off on ski trips together and sailing on his wonderful sailboat, Talisman. Jim was one of the most generous people I ever had the pleasure of calling my friend. And later when I was a single Dad, you and Jim would often take in my golden retriever Nick so I could get away for a few days. Your kindness and generosity meant an awful lot to me, and my thoughts and prayers are with you now. If you need anything, let me know, even if it’s to take the furry companions off your hands for a day or two. Paul 250-889-4910

  3. Jim, we had a lot of good times together back in the day and especially boating as you loved being on the water. Aways open-handed with your time with old and new friends alike, I am one of the many who will always remember you as a smiling, generous friend.

  4. I knew Jim in elementary, jr. high, high school and the first year of university. He was always a talented, well liked individual and I have fond memories of the time we spent growing up.
