It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our father at home on May 1, 2017 having recently reached the age of 100 years. Jim was predeceased by his wife of 70 years Margaret in 2010 and son Jamie in 2013. He will be missed by his loving family daughter-in-law Darlene, son Keith (Patricia) and daughter Nora (Bob); six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A special thank you to the staff at the Wellesley Victoria for their many kindnesses over the past 20 years that Jim resided at the Wellesley.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Christ Church Cathedral, Quadra and Burdett Streets, Victoria, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory would be appreciated to the charity of one’s choice.

I was saddened to learn that while away on pilgrimage in central Italy, I lost a long time friend. I am blessed to have shared leadership in worship services with Jim Robertson at the Wellesley for over 16 years. Before that I knew him as the knowledgeable and always calm Verger at Christ Church Cathedral, Victoria. He was gift to many and I am so glad he could celebrate his 100th birthday in great style. I will miss Jim and offer my condolences to his family.
