Passed away peacefully on August 16, 2009. He was born on August 24, 1916 in Victoria and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Clarice; children, Anne (Bob), Margaret, James (Monica) and Peter and grandchildren, Darryl (Julie), Kimberley, Megyn, Stephen (Tracy), Aislynn, Dylan as well as by several great-grandchildren. James was a long time employee of McGavin’s Bakery and enjoyed a full life with his family. The family would like to thank the staff at 2 West, RJH for all their help and care over these difficult past months.
A Private Service will be held for the family at a later date.

I am not sure I ever met your husband, but I have never forgotten you. You remain one of the biggest influences of my life and I shall never forget you. I am sorry that you have lost your greatest friend but know that you made such an impression on one who has not seen you for 30 + years. Thanks Drysdale,
