We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Janie Marie Holden on Saturday October 19, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Jake and Mary Bradbury.
Janie will be missed by her husband Robert (Bob), sons Bradley (Maricel), Matthew, Mark (Ivy), her dearly loved granddaughters Jade, Ash and Arya, her sister Joan Scott (Gerry), along with a large circle of extended family and friends and not to be forgotten, her beloved Maggie.
Janie (Nana) will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh. She had an affectionate and vibrant spirit that made her shine. Her kindness and warmth were endearing to all who knew her.
Janie will be so missed and will be in our hearts always.
Service will be held at Star of the Sea Church on Monday, October 28th, 2024 at 11am.
Interment to follow at St. Andrews Cathedral Columbarium at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Victoria General Hospital.

Bob & family, I am so sorry to hear of Janie’s passing. I was walking my dog in Bowring park & felt compelled to sit at a particular bench. I read the name,read it again & googled it when I got home. Now when I walk Bea we sit on Janie’s bench for a little chat.I am so sorry I didn’t know sooner. My heartfelt condolences to you all. Big hugs
So very sorry to hear about Janie’s passing. We were classmates in nursing school and were attempting to reach all of our graduates. I will always remember Janie’s laugh. It was infectious. Thoughts going out to her family.
