Passed away October 23, 2008 in Victoria. She was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on February 12, 1921. Predeceased by her husband, Jack in 1980. Survived by her loving daughters, Jean Louise Day (John) and Donna Stewart (Mike Demers); grandchildren, Tony and Alex Day and James and Marissa Stewart. Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her. The family would like to thank Dr. Innes and all the staff at Oak Bay Lodge for their kind care and support.

Private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer Society of BC, 2571-A Quadra Street, Victoria, BC, V8T 4E1.
