Died peacefully on July 13, 2010 at Mt. Tolmie Hospital in Victoria, BC with her family at her side. She was born on May 15, 1911 in Sayabec, PQ. Predeceased by her husband, Dudley in 1992 and daughter, Claire in 1949; Jeanne is survived by her children, Mary (Jim) Adams, Margaret (Don) Best and Michael (Lubi) Brimble; her six grandchildren Shawn, Chris, Lisa, Michelle, Danielle and Neil; and her fourteen great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Mt. Tolmie Hospital and the Cridge Centre for all their warm loving care.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4049 Gordon Head Road on Monday, July 19 at 12 Noon, followed by a reception at her daughter’s home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #107-1001 Cloverdale Ave., Victoria, BC, V8X 4C9 or a charity of your choice. I think about you almost daily treasuring the friendship we had in Victoria and the wonderful years we shared.
