
It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jill. She was predeceased by her father, George in 1974 and her mother, Marjorie, in 2009. Survived by her loving daughter, Kali (aka Marilyn); her sisters, Norma, Terry and Joanne; brothers, Tom and Bob and their families, as well as many relatives and close friends.
Jill was born in Leduc, AB, lived in Calmar, then moved to Cumberland, BC in 1968, where she spent her youth and made long time friends. After graduating from Vanier, she moved to Victoria where she worked all her life, mainly at Sport Traders. She was active in the community, playing local sports and for a few years involved with Harbour Cats Baseball through Sports Traders.
She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Sheila lacourse It is with a sad heart I have to say good bye to you, our cumberland sister jilly bean. kali and family I’m deeply sorry for your loss of a beautiful, kind, loving human being. it will be hard to not look for her amongst the crowds on mayday. or look forward to going to visit her at comox lake campsite in the summers, I will miss you my dear.
