Joan Gardiner died peacefully in Victoria on 21 May 2025 at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her husbands Dudley Edwards and Michael Gardiner, she is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Alethea and Rita, and her four grandchildren, Joseph, Chloe, Micah and Adam. At the age of 93 Joan moved to Victoria to be cared for by her daughter, Rita.

Mama Joan lived a good life, The Lord saw that she was tired so He put his arms around her and whispered softly. “Joan come to me” The family will miss her dearly, but God takes only the best, remember the good memories she left behind and may her beautiful soul rest peacefully.
