In loving memory of Joanne Jones, who passed away on January 19th, 2024. Joanne was the devoted and loving mother of Phillip, Sarah, and Vanessa. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Joanne was born August 2nd, 1965 in Halifax, NS to her loving parents Vincent and Yolande Cain. Predeceased by her mother Yolande, her sister Lynne (Ken), and her brother Paul (Paula). She Is survived by her brother Thomas (Marnie), her children Phillip, Sarah (Zack), and Vanessa, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Joanne was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Joanne was a woman of strong faith and she instilled the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Joanne was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all three of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Joanne a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Mom, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.

It’s with a heavy heart I’m sending my heartfelt condolences in the loss of Joanne. Joanne was loving, caring and such a kind lady. Remembering all of you growing up as we were neighbours for many years. I know she loved her job at SD61 as I would bump into her and we would catch up and laugh about younger years. To her children, I saw you all when you were little, cherish all memories of your Mom.Carry them in your heart and she will walk with you every minute of everyday. So blessed to have a Mom like Joanne. Thomas , I feel deeply for you, please when you can reach out to me through my email. Take Care.
    Sincerely, Susan Chudleigh
