Joe Dumouchel

Joe passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC on June 18, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Verna, brother Doug, and son Christopher. He will be missed by his sister Elaine (and her family), his partner Nancy (and her family), his son Geoff (Alison), daughters Nicole (Jared) and Courtney, and grandchildren Hayden, Carter, Cohen, Mia, and Peyton. Joe enjoyed riding his Harley with his friend Bob and baking in the sun on the beach in Mexico. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Prinsloo for your care and advocacy for Joe. Also, a very special thank you for the loving care and kindness of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Victoria Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm.

  7. It is with a very heavy heart that I have to write this message. Joe was my co-worker for 27.5 years but more importantly he was also a friend for almost 32 years. We shared many conversations, laughs and beer through Hot Rod road trips, dinners, staff coffee breaks and parties. His wide circle of friends and acquaintances is a testament to the kind and honest man he was. Sending love and strength to his extended families.
    RIP Joe. I will think of you often.
