Joe passed away in Victoria on December 16, 2015. He was born in Ponta Garca, Portugal on March 12, 1933. He was predeceased by his son, Joe and is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Alice; his son, Tony and many extended family and friends. Joe came to Canada in 1956 and worked for Farmer Construction for 27 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 4040 Nelthorpe at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, https://ocp.diabetes.ca/OD/csCustomerDonation.asp or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
