Born on July 26, 1938 in Lashburn, Saskatchewan and passed away very suddenly on November 21, 2016. She will be missed by her 5 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Everyone knew Joyce for her heartfelt hugs. The family would appreciate if you hug a friend in lieu of flowers.
A Public Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm at McCall Gardens on Sunday, November 27, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Glad Tidings Church, 1800 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC.

Joyce was my mom for a while too. During difficult teenage and young adult years when my own mother wouldn’t listen to me, Joyce was always there. She was a truly kind person who always saw the good in people. Even though we lost contact after I divorced her son,I always kept a place in my heart for her. I am sorry for the loss to her family.
