I was so sad to hear of Tante Julie’s passing. She and your dad were always a part of the fabric of our childhood, whether we were stationed in the same city or it was ‘la grande visite’ requiring our Sunday best. I felt special knowing I was ‘their’ godchild. The last time I saw your parents was in the ‘80’s when I visited Victoria. One of my oldest friends from St. Anne’s and I were served a wonderful meal orchestrated by your dad. It was the loveliest of evenings spent with the both of them and I cherish the memory. I spoke with your mother shortly after my mom passed away. She missed your father terribly. She’s with him again and, I am sure, that is her heaven.

My sincerest condolences to you and your families.

All my love, ta cousine Michele (Pinet).

    Dear David and Richard

I haven’t seen Aunt Julie in years, but have fond memories of when she and Uncle Leo would visit my folks when I was much much younger. Condolences to you and your families.

    Dear Richard, David, and families,
So very sorry to hear of Aunt Julie’s passing. I have very fond memories of visiting you, Uncle Leo and Aunt Julie as a child in Victoria. Whenever your Mom and Dad visited us wherever we were posted it was always “la grande visite”! My thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.
    Your cousin,
    Jacqueline and family
