    Dear Doug & Family ,

I am so very sad to hear of Karen’s passing. Her and I went to school together and spend many a day enjoying each others friendship. I will marry Ron Hunt, who is son of Joyce Hunt from your church. I have to believe her pain is over and she is enjoying the peace of Heaven. We would bump into each other from time to time and catch up on each others lives. I remember meeting her beautiful children and I do feel for all of you.

    Prayers Debbie

  • Jan McDonagh

Doug, Renee and Lauren and families,

I am so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. I met Karen years ago when I was her “Avon lady” and even though we didn’t often see each other lately, I always considered Karen to be a friend. I remember fondly all the visits we had and cups of tea we shared.

We bumped into each other at Hillside Mall last year not long after her cancer returned and her spirit and determination were amazing. Even though she was sure she would overcome this latest hurdle, sadly it wasn’t to be. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and all our lives are richer for having known her.

    Sincerely, Jan McDonagh

I am very sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. I worked with her at Sears and remember her as a very calm, quiet, helpful woman who had wonderful moments of cheekiness. She will be missed and I know she touched many a person.

    To Doug and family,

We were so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. We got marrried the same year and were in each others weddings. I can’t quite believe it yet. After meeting her for coffee some time back, she left me with a good feeling towards anything that could come our way. Doug, you were definitely on the top of her list for your care. We will miss her for sure, but will see her one day in heaven.

Love and prayers to you, Wilma and Gerry Harrison
