Kathleen Muriel Smith (Hurley) passed away peacefully at 6:00 p.m. on December 1, 2013, born in Victoria, May 25, 1930. She is predeceased by her parents Fred & Edna; sister-in-law, Elsie; nephew, Robbie and grandson, Richard. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Laurie; son, Russell (Kim); brothers, Dennis, John (Barb) and Ron (Connie) of Qualicum Beach and sister-in-law Pat Smith. She is lovingly remembered by all of her cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews and extended family Ron & Donna LaRose.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Mount Newton Centre Society or a charity of your choice. A celebration of life will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at McCall Brothers Chapel, 1400 Vancouver Street, Victoria, B.C.
