Kathlyn “Kay” Fellner (nee Miles)
March 12, 1923 – March 16, 2010
Kathlyn Fellner passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in her 88th year at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Predeceased by her husband, Edward (2002), daughter, Maureen (1994), infant son, Ricky (1957), brother, Ken Miles (1992) and grandson, Wayne (1990). Lovingly remembered by her children, Paul (MaryBeth), Mark (Sarah), Gregory (Allanah), Kurt (Allison). Loving Nana to Lindsay, Brian, Christie, Matthew, Rachel, Victoria and Carolyn.
Kay was a member of Monterey and Victoria Golf Club Bridge Groups and had a great passion for her grandchildren, travel and her gardens.
Special warm thanks from the Fellner family to her dear friends, Glenys and Susan and to the great doctors, nurses and staff who treated Kay Fellner as one of their own! (including Emergency, ICU and Royal 2)
Visitation will be held at McCall Bros., Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Sunday, March 21 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 2060 Haultain Street on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 10:00am with interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency, 2410 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC V8R 6V5.
