  3. Your mother was so kind and I’ll always remember her gracious smile. I remember my Mom and Katica in the kitchen upstairs together. We have a B&W photo at the old house with Katica and Franjo at my Christening. My mom said I was named after Franjo because our parents were great friends, in the 70s, 80s, 90s and onwards! What an honor it was to have them at our house growing up. Every visit was a celebration filled with special memories I’ll never forget. I’m sorry to hear that a true Croatian Matriarch has passed. One of our own.
