I cherish my memories of when Grant and I met with Klaus in the little church at Gordon and Bev’s. I remember Klaus choosing Hymn 215 often. My heart felt love to you all. Beautiful to watch the service today. Much love to each one
I have many memories of Klaus and Francine who were part of my life as early as I can remember. I remember Klaus being fun and we shared teasing, pranks and laughter.
My thoughts are with everyone.
Klaus, may you soar free. Thank you so much for mentoring me and seeing something special within myself. That means more than you ever knew..
The times we spent out photographing nature then sharing your words of wisdom over a glass of wine …. priceless.
Almost 52 years ago Klaus (& Orin Grovum) and I travelled to Europe together and I got to see the house where Klaus was born, and we had time with his relatives in Oldenburg. Since that time, I’ve had a number of years in the Moose Jaw when Michael, David & Tammy were young and then I got to know Bev & Brian and the rest of the family. I’ve been left with many special memories of those friendships that have survived the years. We think of each of you and of you Francine and beg that all of this can be a rich experience for everybody.

When there are no words, love is the comfort. May your love for each other, love of your family and love from your friends comfort you in your journey of saying farewell to Klaus.
We remember Klaus as a friendly, artistically-talented man. We’ll keep those thoughts.
Special days we spent with the Bohn family….well remembered.
Sincere sympathies from Ira and Marcella Loucks. We are thinking of you all today and want you to know we care. We have fond memories of our MacDonald family gathering with the Bohn family at Moose Jaw back in the 1980’s. It will be very special to join the funeral service virtually for Klaus, later today.
Karen and Fred Hudema,
I have many wonderful memories of Klaus and Francine and family. We value the portraits they took of our four children when they each turned 16 years old.
Our deep condolences go to Francine, Michael, Tammy and David and grandchildren. May God give you comfort, strength and courage during this difficult time. Love Karen and Fred Hudema.
Klaus’s passion for his craft was truly infectious & played a big role in getting my career off the ground. His teachings were a huge influence in helping Geraldine & myself open our Yorkton studio in 1984.
Although, the world has changed drastically in so many ways I reflect back on great times with him, Francine, Brian, David, Michael & Tammy, where we shared many good times together.
We were the best of friends on a professional level & he influenced me in VERY many ways in the world of photography! When Klaus moved to beautiful B.C. it was very difficult to stay in touch, BUT memories cannot be erased & I reflect with warm fondness.
Geraldine & I wish to express our very sincere condolences to each & everyone of you on his passing.
Lastly,
Klaus always had some insightful words to express to me and now I would like to leave you with a little something……….
” the most successful person you will meet is the person who finds happiness, joy & appreciation in every day they live”
our LOVE to you all

We had many good times together with the Bohn family. Klaus had a long journey battling ill health. It was Beautiful when it was said “enough” and now a reward waiting. A loss for for his kids and heart ache inevitable but covet the memories . Good job Tammy and Bev there to the end.
