May 21, 1957 – May 21, 2012

With devastating sadness we announce the passing of Lauren. She leaves her greatest achievement, beloved daughter Kate and her loving family, parents Rob and June, sisters Kathleen and Susan, nephew Kael. Predeceased by brother Wayne (May 2, 2010) as well as Uncles, Aunts, cousins and friends all who loved her whole heartedly. Lauren was one of the kindest, generous, most caring and loving people you could ever meet. Her charm and beauty was never left unnoticed. She had a great sense of humour, a hearty laugh and was always filled with compassion, especially for those less fortunate than herself. Being so spirited, life was never boring when she was around. Her love for animals was legendary, her favourites being horses and cats (Ed the cat in particular). A celebration of life will be held at McCall Bros. downtown location, on Saturday June 2, 2012 at 2:30 pm.  Condolences may be offered below.

Dear June & Rob, Kathy, Susie & Kate,

You have been in our prayers ever since you, June, telephoned to give us the sad news of Lauren’s sudden death. It is a long time since we have seen Lauren but I certainly remember that she was very beautiful. What a lovely obituary! We have very fond memories of our time in Victoria one of the best being our friendship with you, June & Robbie, and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
    With love, Lois & Bill

We first meet Lauren when she was taking Katie to her grandparents, many decades ago. Our memories of time spent at the Robinson’s family home will always be cherished. It is hard to believe that Lauren’s wonderful laugh, and sense of humor will only be memories, dear ones of time spent with such a graceful, bright, and elegant person.
    We will miss her.

All our love, June and Ashley Dittmer

Lauren was such a beautiful caring person and it was a such an honour getting to know her through the years. We met when Tom and Lauren were dating and was a big part of our family for such a long time. From the time she took care of our baby (at the time) Brett till years later, visiting and looking after Aggie (Tom’s mom) she has always been someone to trust and love because she had such love and trust. I’ll always remember her great sense of humour and laughter and I hope that all the good memories of Lauren will help all the sadness you feel, heal.

All our love, Cathy, Sheldon, Brett and Maddison Larson
