Lawrence Steven Richards

Lawrence passed away suddenly on his way to meet friends to attend a Classic Car show in Langley. Lawrence grew up in Brentwood Bay and was a plumber by trade. He was a great guy, had a great sense of humor and always had a big smile on his face. He enjoyed the simple things in life. If you were looking for Lawrence, you could usually find him at his friend’s shop, hanging out with his buddies, swapping stories, solving the worlds problems, and working on cars. He loved nothing more than taking his 56 Plymouth out for a cruise or spending the day checking out the local car shows. In younger years he was happiest out on the water boating or riding his motorcycle. He lived life at his own pace and made a lot of wonderful memories along the way. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Lawrence is predeceased by his parents Beach and Winnie, and his nephew Michael. He leaves his brother Lonnie (Marlene) sister Laurel (Jack) nieces Jennifer (Don) Shelby, nephew Steve (Kerry) niece in-law Jen, cousins and great nephews and nieces to mourn his passing.

Special thanks to John Magi, Tony Van Wyk, Don Affleck and his friends of the Lucky Brothers Speed Shop.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the Central Saanich Police Department & First Responders.

Lawrence, you will forever be in our hearts.

Condolences may be offered to the family below.
