It is with sadness to learn of the passing of Mrs. Hamilton.
Mrs. Hamilton was my Sunday School teacher at Gosworth Road Church in the ‘70s, and then she was our neighbour on Lang Street for four years. We always enjoyed our visits with Mrs. Hamilton; she spoke often about her family, and loved her garden. She was always very well-dressed with a skirt, and at that time she enjoyed getting to her destinations in her blue Dodge Aspen. Although we hadn’t seen Mrs. Hamilton for many years, she was often in our thoughts. Our prayers are with her and her family. Glenn and Trish Colthorpe.

Special memories of your mom, my mom Dorothy (Barks ) kept in touch with your mom and their cousin Ernie Trainor ( in Ontario Huntsville area) over the years. Enjoyed our visits each time and the occasional phone call. It was such a pleasant call to receive when your mom would call on occasion to inquire on the family. Only Aunt Velma is remaining of your grandpa Walter’s sister Eleanore’s ( my grandma ) family. Aunt Velma will be 86 in July however, is quite frail in a nursing home in Melfort at the moment. My mom passed away five years back. You will miss your mom greatly and Roy your days will be very different. Much to be thankful for in that your mom was able to have quality of life till the last while. We all can appreciate how remarkable she was for her years. Last summer was the last face to face visit we had at la rosa – was very special to spend some wonderful time with her then even though she was recovering from a bit of a set back. We called the other evening as we are heading over May 10 following some meetings i have in vancouver earlier that week. still plan to get in touch when we get to the island around the 10th as we were not able to change our flights to get there for this Friday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time, i know you are all aware what a special person your mom was and how much she was appreciated. We share in your sorrow and will be with you on Friday in thought and prayer.
In deepest sympathy Ken Cathy Nadiger and family. My dad Lloyd sends his sympathy as well.
