1934 – 2010

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Victoria Hospice on August 27, 2010. Linda was born and raised in Hoi Ping, Guangdong, China, and moved to Hong Kong, where she devoted her life to raising her siblings (Jean, Brenda, Ken and Cindy) and her own four children. In 1975 she moved to Victoria with her family. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 57 years, Danny; children Ringo, Christine (Tony), Judy (Steven), Henry (Grace); grandchildren Isaac, Jennifer, Jonathan, Derek, Melanie, Lauren and Matthew. She was fond of cooking, entertaining guests, watching basketball games and the performing arts, and being in the company of her family and friends. Linda worked tirelessly her entire life to look after others before herself and her caring spirit and vibrant energy will never be forgotten.
Special thanks to Drs. H. Lee, K. Horgan, and staff at VGH, RJH, BC Cancer Agency, and Victoria Hospice for their devotion and care of our wife, mother and grandmother.

A Funeral Service will take place on Thur. Sept. 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. at McCall Brothers (1400 Vancouver St.). Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. Please join us for dinner at 5:00 p.m. at Golden City Restaurant (721 Fisgard St.). Sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. It is always a difficult time when you lose a parent. I didn’t know your mom, but it
appears that she was a loving and kind person, and i am sure that you will have many happy memories of her in the days to come. Best Regards
