With deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Loredana Cortese at the age of 64 years young.
Laura was born in Cosenza Italy, March 28, 1960, and moved to Victoria when she was 3 years old with her mother and father; and shortly after was joined by her brothers, Gino and Luigi.
Laura, was the BEST grandma, mother, and wife but grew her wings too soon on September 23, 2024.
Laura left behind her husband of 41 years, Franco; her 2 daughters, Christina and Francesca; and her 3 amazing grandchildren, Natalie (8) Everleigh (3) and Ayden (2).
Laura was the rock of the family. She was always there whenever anyone needed anything, without a doubt she will be missed.
We know she is enjoying a hot cup of espresso and sausage with her parents and other loved ones.
“Gone, yet not forgotten, although we are apart your spirit lives within us, forever in our hearts.”
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC, V8Y 1B4.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
