Lyle Henry Greff

January 11, 1958 – October 30, 2010
Passed away suddenly doing what he love best…hunting.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Gail; daughters, Chelsea and Kyla; parents, Joe and Betty Greff; brother, Eugene; many nieces, nephews and all the Sparling family; his little buddy, Blaze; as well as his many friends and co-workers.
Special thanks to Ward and Gina Black for being in the forest on Saturday to help.
A celebration of Lyle’s life will be held at HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1924 Carrick St., on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm.

  1. He was a well loved man who will be very much missed. He was a wonderful father, husband, and son, and I was lucky to call him uncle. My love and thoughts are with my family.

  3. Gail; Dianne and I send our deepest sympathies. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family. I will miss talking to him and waving hello as I meet him on the road with his yellow flat bed, and me in my mail van. This was a daily occurrence for me. He will be missed.

    I can see him driving in the yard with a car full of telephone books for the Girl Guides because all his girls were involved with guiding.

    We feel honored to have known Lyle as a friend He was one of the nicest people we have encountered throughout our lives. The two of you always made us feel so welcome, and part of your lives. Your husband had such a kind heart and friendly nature.

  9. Gail, so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know your husband but seeing the two of you together on the blue boat in the mornings, it was very obvious you had your best friend at your side. Maureen Berryman

  10. My deepest sympathy to Gail and the girls. Lyle was my friend and a daily passenger on the Blue Boat. I Always watched out for his arrival and enjoyed his company and his tricks that he played on me. I will miss him sorely. We all care a lot for You Gail and mourn with you
