It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mabel Wildman of Sidney, BC.
Mabel was born in Toronto, the youngest of the five children of Angus and Olive Pogson. After completing high school Mabel began work as a secretary. Soon after she met Henry Wildman, who would become her husband and lifelong love for 62 years. Together they raised a family, travelled, danced, and had a very happy life, first in Toronto and then Sooke and Sidney until his passing.
For Mabel, the love of family was everything. She will be greatly missed by sons Brian (Robyn) and Dale (Teri), grandchildren Marshall (Ally) and Harmony (Josh), nieces, nephews, and friends, and especially her nieces Sue and Debbie.
A special thank you to the staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Jean Hodges I would like to send my condolences to the Wildman family. I am a careworker for Bayshore Home Health and looked after your mother in 2022. We had many long conversations and even managed to get out for the occasional walk. She is now at peace.
Regards, Jean Hodges
