  1. Dear Charlie & Family: You don’t know us, but Magdi did, & always refered to us by name when we picked up our prescriptions. We often commented on how pleasant it was to be greeted by Magdi. She was always so cheerful & friendly, & we know she will be missed by everyone who was a customer. We had no idea that she was ill, so we were shocked to read about her passing in the paper. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Sincerely Jim & Irene Owen

  2. Erika and family,

My deepest sympathies go out to you. I not only worked with Erika at GHRC, but was a regular customer at the pharmacy while I lived there. She was the sweetest lady in the world.

  3. Dear Charlie, Charlie Jr, Erika, and Stephanie,

Magdi was a very precious lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and very sadly missed by our family.
There aren’t enough words to express just how wonderful and beautiful she truly was.

    Dear Charles and Stephanie,

We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Beloved Mom (and mother in law) – when I heard the news, my heart broke for you, and although I never met your mother, having just lost my dear father-in-law, it really hit close to home and to our hearts. Treasure your memories, they are what keeps her legacy alive, and continue to celebrate special days of her life, as they will keep her near and dear to your hearts. These days will seem heavy and deeply sad, but time heals hearts, and although that may seem impossible at the very moment, find trust and comfort that one day, you will feel lighter. She’ll be your Guardian Angel and may she visit you all in your Peaceful dreams.

All our love and deepest Condolences,
The Furtado’s ~ Tara, Libral, Hazen & Vienna

Please pass on our heartfelt Sympathies to your Father and to the rest of your family. xoxo

  5. I have been a customer of Magdis forever. When I noticed she was not around, and asked about her, I was told she was taking a break. I did not think that sounded like her. I continued to ask when she would be back and was eventually told she had retired. I then sent her a card saying Happy Retirement. Today in the paper I see where she has retired to. She was, and is, an angel. I didn’t get to say goodbye. So, goodbye lovely angel lady.

  6. The world has lost a beautiful person. Magdi will forever be remembered in my heart. Her gentleness and sincerity and loving ways shone from her whole being. Her willingness to participate in any event that I planned for charity , expecially the Dunk Tank on numerous occasions, not once but maybe three times in a day ,even if she was’nt feeling too good will always be remembered by me . My condolences to all her family for thier sad loss. How lucky you were to have such a wonderful person in your lives may that thought and all your memories help you through this difficult time . Goodbye Magdi it was a honour to have known you. Much love to you all Jackie ( Blake ) Ladieswear K mart

  7. I was saddened to hear of Magdi’s passing and wish to pass along my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved wife and mother. Magdi was the sweetest person I’ve ever known and heaven will be lucky to have her there. I am participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer this coming weekend, so am unable to attend the service. I will put Magdi’s photo on the handlebars of my bike and her smiling face will be my inspiration.

    Sincerely,

    Cynthia Nicholl

  8. Another Lemon family member with fond memories of a very sweet lady. She will be missed by all her customers.

  9. I am saddened by the loss of your mother/wife. She was the sweetest woman I have ever had the opportunity to know. Kindness and warmth were who she was. Always a hug and a kiss, and words of encouragement, made seeing her a most welcoming time. She helped me more than she ever knew through a very difficult time. Darrin, Brandon and I still reminisce of the days when brought us goodies to our door step!

Charlie a d Erika, you are her legacy.

    Most sincerely,
    Shirley Wiebe
