Nephews, Mitch, Mathew, Nieces Laurie-Anne, Alisha and great Nephews Calab and Lucas, and many friends including Troy Boyer, Debbie Fulmore, Ross Morgan, Doug Logan, Paul Lewowich, Edardo Hunden, Brett Johnson, David Duncan, Helen Eng and Peter Nahan.
A Funeral Service will be held on June 18, 2011 at McCall’s Funeral Home, 1400 Vancouver Street at 2:00 pm. A celebration of life to follow after the service in the McCall’s Family Centre.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Moe’s passing. He and I have been in contact via email and phone for over 2 years with regards to the Sailing Association and finally just met face-to-face last month. His smile, sense of humour, and genuine caring nature are what I’ll remember most.
My sincere condolences to his partner and family.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Moe’s death. My deepest condolences to Moe’s family and friends. You have left this earth far to early.
My sincere condolences go to Moe’s partner and his family. He was a man of justice and caring who had a smile that lit up the room. A great loss.
I still can’t believe that Maj. Gauthier has left this earth so early….at such a young age with so many dreams still to be fulfilled. He has been my Commandant for almost 5 years at BLTC and has been a great leader. He was a caring, fair, open minded and honest person whom I will remember forever. I know that he will be missed by a lot of people. My heart goes to Stephen as well as to all his family and friends.
Sincerely,
Céline
My deepest sympathy to Moe’s family during this terrible time. I was fortunate to have Moe help me deliver my sailboat from Vancouver some eleven years ago and have always appreciated his goodness, fairness and his smile. Truly a good man and much respected. Knowing Moe made one a better person and his memory will carry on. Our thoughts are with the family.

Sincere condolences to Maj (Ret’d) Moe Gauthier’s family and friends. Courage during this very sad period. Taken early,…His loss is a choc to anyone who has known him, he was a true human being. He lived every moment, it seemed, as if it was the last, rightously : he was peaceful, generous, very friendly with an obvious and permanent sense of duty, and patriotism…An ideal colleague. I got to cross path with him at random in a parking lot a week before his passing…A smiling face is a vivid memory of the happy and peaceful man I have known. Reposez en paix, vous manquerez énormément à votre famille, aux amis et collègues.
My deepest sympathy to Moe’s family, may they be of great support to each other in this time of loss and sadness. I have known and worked with Moe for the past few years and have the deepest respect for him. He always made time to chat with you when you needed and always put the needs of others before his own. I will miss him but remember him fondly.

May the hands of our Loving God envelop all those that Maurice touched and may he rest in peace. We loved him and his Mom (Irene) thought the world of him. To Steph our deepest condolences.
Love and prayers always,
Dianne, Lloyd and Irene
My deepest condolences to Moe’s family and friends. Although I’d only known Moe for three years he always greeted me as a old friend. I will miss talking about old cars over a beer and seeing that infectous smile as he walked the docks at the sailing club. May God bless his family and comfort them at this time of loss.
