Special thanks to Dr. Gagliardi and the staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Marg’s life will be held in McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, Johnson & Vancouver Streets at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, March 31, 2012, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation, 2166 Mount Newton Cross Road, Saanichton, BC, V8M 2B2 or Island Montessori, 5575 West Saanich Road, Victoria, BC, V9E 2G1. Kathy and family, I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Will remember ,with admiration, ” Mrs. Boss” when she taught at Richmond School. My thoughts are with you at this sad and difficult time.
So very sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you all at this time.

I always picture Marg as so cheerful and lively – snapping our pictures at engineers’ wives’ events. Her generosity and thinking of others less fortunate (African children) was just one of her good deeds. I am unable to attend her service but I wish to express my sincere condolences to the whole family.

Auntie Margie was always so cheerful. I am feeling grateful still for when she (and Uncle Dick) let me stay in their basement when I was going to University and drank all their orange juice. Kathy even let me drive her cool van around! Loosing a fixture in your life feels too bizarre to describe. I am feeling for all of you, Uncle Dick, Kathy, Tim and Jon, and all of your kids. She will be greatly missed.
Dear Dick and family,
We were so sorry to read of Margaret’s death. You have our deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Dick and Shirley Giske
Dear Dick and family: I was both shocked and very saddened to see Margaret’s Obituary Notice in the paper. Please accept my deepest sympathy. My love and prayers are with you all at this very sad time.
Dear Dick, I am sorry to learn of Marg’s passing. What a surprise.I wasn’t aware of her being ill, I wish I would have known. It was just like yesterday that we talked outside the new house and she was full of life and fun. Always a smile and up for a good story. I’ve missed seeing her walking with Abby and every time I saw you with Abby, I would run to try and catch you but you had already passed. I wanted to ask you..”Where is Marg?”
So please Dick, if you should need a dog walker for Abby while all this organizing is going on. Please don’t hesitate to call. I am around and I could take her out midday, if that would help. My number is 477-8045.
I mean it Dick, Please call for help when you need it.
Love Millie
