It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Margery Lucille McIntosh born December 6th, 1934, in Crooked River, Saskatchewan. She was the second daughter of Samuel and Ida Green. Margery married Dale McIntosh of Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1961. They lived in Rosetown for many years moving to Victoria in 1974. It was in Victoria that she and her husband enjoyed walking their beagle dogs along the beach. Marge enjoyed gardening, growing beautiful roses and preserving tomatoes and jams. She also enjoyed golfing, bridge and travelling on many cruises with her sister, Doris. She also loved watching the Vancouver Canucks play hockey.
She is predeceased by her husband, Dale, brothers Donald, Samuel, and David, sister Doris Grieves and granddaughter Rhiannon Valentine. Her memory will be forever cherished by her daughter Kathryn, twin granddaughters Sara and Alexis Valentine and grandson Samuel Valentine, her sisters Marion and Beverly, brothers Grant and Joe as well as many numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for both Margery and Dale will be held at St. Peter and St. Paul Anglican Church at a later date. Donations, if desired, may be made to St. Peter and St. Paul Anglican Church.
