The Lord took to Him our beloved Mother, Grandmother (Beppe) and Great-Grandmother, Margje (Margo) on June 30, 2010. She was born on June 8, 1925 in Friesland, the Netherlands. Predeceased by her daughter, Patricia ((Piety) Olivier in 1995 (Calgary); her sister, Tine in 2002 (Netherlands) and by three brothers in the Netherlands, Roelof in 1988, Sjouke in 1991, Jan in 1996 and one brother Willem in 1990 in Victoria; beloved cousin, Jenny DeVries in 1993 in Victoria and nieces, Piety and Emma in the Netherlands. Survived by son, Louw (Marilyn) in Victoria, son, Sid (Karen) in Calgary; daughter, Christine Milne (Dave) and six grandchildren, Louwrens (Amanda), Anna (Don), Megan (Joel), Andrew, Brandon and Kylie and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Onne (Sieb) in New Zealand and Pieter (Bea) in the Netherlands and many nieces and nephews in Canada, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
Funeral Service will take place in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Kyle Kloostra officiating. A reception will follow in the McCall’s Family Centre. Interment at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Patricia Olivier Memorial Fund at the Duncan Christian School, 495 Beech Avenue, Duncan, BC V9L 3J8.
