Amaral, Maria Amelia da Ponte
Maria was born in Sao Miguel Açores, Portugal on July 4, 1937. She passed away peacefully on April 2, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Henrique Pacheco de Amaral; loving mother of José Alberto (Maria), Norberto, Jaime (Helena), Jorgina (Dinis) and Célia; loving grandmother of Christopher, Kevin, Lucas and Emily. She was predeceased by her son, Edwardo in 1979 and husband, Henrique in 2009.
Prayers will be offered in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11:00 am. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com

My family and I are so blessed to say we had the opportunity of knowing your mother.and we know that heaven just received one of it’s most special angels. Your mother has left behind her reflection in her children, remember all the good times the way your mom loved and welcomed people.
