Mom, we are thinking of you and missing you so much today. I know we ‘talk’ all the time, but a year ago today was the last time I actually spoke with you, just moments before it all happened. I miss hearing your Earthly voice, though I hear you in other ways all the time.

    XOXO FOREVER

To Shaun, Monica and Lucas – we are so terribly sorry for your loss. When we moved to Cahilty Lane, your mum became our neighbour and then our friend. Marion was a genuinely kind, caring and friendly woman who cared passionately about people, thoughts and ideas. It was so nice to be able to pick up the phone and say ‘come on up for a cup of coffee?’ or ‘do you want to borrow a good movie we just watched?’.
We miss her gentle presence but will hold the memories we have of the time spent with her close to our hearts.

Dear Monica and family and Shaun, I can’t tell you how sorry we are about your mother’s death. Find it just so hard to believe. I know you will miss her so much. What a fabulous person she was.She loved her children so much. And Monica how she loved your little boy.The last time I saw her we both had our eyes sparkling talking about our grandsons. Take care of yourselves, that is what you mum would have wanted. Monica I would love to get to meet your son and see you again, please give Jen and I a call when you feel up to it. Monica & Shaun can’t tell you how sorry I am to hear of your Mom’s death. Such a shock & just feel so bereft. Eileen Melissa told me about it. We went to University together & had kept in touch since then. Christmas always seemed the time for us to touch base & maybe once during the year. Life had become very busy for both of us, however always knew your Mom was there. We were both the same age our birthdays both in Oct. She loved that grandson of hers. Take care & know that your hearts are hurting .

Live in Squamish, & if I was closer would have come on Tues. for the celebration of life.
