March 3, 1919 – March 28, 2012

Passed away peacefully at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, Victoria BC with loving members of her family at her side. Marjorie is survived by her son, George (Maureen); daughters, Carol and Donna; son, David; grandchildren, Ted (Jaqui), Anne, Eryn, Michael (Lana), Heather, Sarah, Andrew, Johnathon (Crystal), Kimberly (Grant) and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her former husband, Alfred; her parents, James and Eleanor Wrigley; her siblings, Kenneth, Gwendolyn, Gordon (Helen), Beatrice and Neville. Marjorie was born in Saskatoon, SK and grew up there graduating from City Park Collegiate. Married in 1942, she lived in Trenton, Toronto and Guelph, ON, returned to Saskatchewan living in Kamsack, Melville, Prince Albert, North Battleford, Yorkton and Saskatoon. Marjorie relocated to Calgary and finally moved to Esquimalt, BC. She was a loving and devoted mother and very active in the Anglican Church wherever she was and particularly enjoyed the Women’s Institute and Mothers Union. During her life she worked as a mother, bookkeeper, florist, building manager and clerk at a gold mine. The family wishes to thank all the staff especially, Denise, Andy and Cathy of Mount St. Mary’s Hospital for their patience, understanding, kind and compassionate care over the last eight years.

Marjorie’s ashes will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon next to her parents. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
