He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda, children, Rick (Anne), Ashley (Scott), Cassie (Ernie), and grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael, Melissa, Chelsea, Aurora, Anneke, Ava, Axel, Brooklyn, Everly and Tenley. He is also survived by his brother Robert Scott, daughter-in-law, Robin (Donald), sister-in-law Louise (David), the many friends who love him dearly, and with a special thank you to his very dear friend, Rachel.

Marty fought a long hard battle with Parkinson’s Disease, but refused to let it slow him down.

  4. Those of us who knew Marty. Knew that he was selfless, always devoted to helping others , his friends and family. A stubborn, determined beautiful man with a heart of gold. His loving energy would fill the room and his witty slightly cocky humour would always get everyone’s attention.

I feel honoured to be able to call him my friend, and to have spent the time I did with him. Those memories I will always Cherish.
He taught me many things and I will always be grateful for those lessons.
He always treated me and my family with care and love. Always left me with a warm feeling of appreciation. He was the guy that thought he could handle any situation and fix any problem. And when he couldn’t he would still try and push things until he achieved the impossible.
