It is with sadness that we have said good-bye to our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Evelyn. She was born on February 11, 1916 in Edmonton and died on December 18, 2011 in Victoria. Mary was predeceased by Clarence, her husband of 61 years; her brother, Frank; her sister, Gertrude and her grandsons, Glen and Randy de Macedo. She will be missed by her daughters, Dorothy (Bob), Kathleen (Derek); her grandchildren, Deborah, Margot (Thomas), Shaun (Christine) Heather and step-grandchildren, David and Janice. She will also be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Meara, Rose, Olivia, Jordan and Stephanie.
There will be a gathering at the interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a remembrance tea at 3931 Staten Place in Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Condolences may be offered to the family at
