Vipond, Mary Helen (Nee LeMercier) passed away peacefully on October 17, 2010 at the age of 90 after a long courageous struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, William Clarence. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, John (Carol), Bill
(Sharon) and Beverley. She will be missed by her seven grandchildren, Gregory, Alison, Melanie, Tim, Jennifer, Anthony and Olivia, and her one great-grandchild Felicity.
A special thanks to her dear friend, Marion Vipond, Dr. Richard Nuttall, and the wonderful staff at St. Charles Manor for their continuing care and support.
A traditional funeral will be held at St. Matthias Church, 600 Richmond Ave. Victoria BC at 1:00 pm on Tuesday October 19 with a reception to follow.
In Lieu of flowers donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.

I was so sad to hear the news this evening from Mom about the passing of your Mom. I have so many wonderful memories of your Mom – drinks in the family room on St. Charles with both of your parents, and many lunches and visits at Sunrise and St. Charles Manor. She was always thrilled to talk about her kids and grandkids! You made her so happy!
It is a rite of passage to lose a parent. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very sad time.
