  5. Tracy and I are very sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts. I say this all the time whenever I see my relatives now – as we are now of an age similar to our parents when we were growing up, my cousins now remind me of my uncles and aunts (and even my parents) as I remember them in look and manner. Your grandmother reminds me of my grandmother. Take comfort in her long and fruitful life and remember that she will always be a part of you.

I will always remember Great Aunt Mary’s warm welcome on Sunday nights in her home on Ziprick Road in Kelowna. I will remember the comfort of sitting beside her while my mother set her hair in rollers. Aunt Mary was always very kind to me in a genuine way… a safe haven… I knew her as a spirited, strong willed, trustworthy and loving women. May she rest in peace.
