The kids and I want to send our heartfelt sympathy to you during this difficult time. My sister was an exceptional individual that loved those around her with a kind and gentle heart. She would be the first to offer help, send loving thoughts and comforting words to anyone in need. Her loving nature was also evident in the way she cared for the birds around her home and especially her cats. She will be greatly missed but will also be remembered in my thoughts and heart.

Love Polly ( Nova Scotia )

  2. Bernie, Sandra, and Robert,

Mary was a compassionate and loving person, consistently demonstrating her love for others.

I will always remember Mary as a person who put herself last, which is not unlike our mother.

The world needs more people like Mary.

  6. Mary was such a lovely, warm person and we were privileged to come to know her as our neighbor. She graciously cared for our cats and garden whenever we needed her, and even after we moved away we enjoyed her friendship. She was a genuinely caring and warm person, very hospitable and kind. She loved her cats and always kept her home so lovely. We will miss her very much. Our deepest condolences to Bernie and the rest of her family – such a great loss.

  8. Mary (and Bernie) have been our wonderful neighbours for almost 20 years. Mary took loving care of our cats when we were away and we always enjoyed our conversations outside while she was working in her garden (which is beautiful) and we in ours. She was gracious, kind, and gentle and we will miss her.
