Born on March 16, 1940 in Victoria, B.C. Passed away peacefully at the Royal Jubilee Hospital with her family by her side on November 25, 2008. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Molly Jefferies and sister, Cynthia Finlay. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Dave; daughter, Mary Borrowman (Jim); sons, Colin and Keith; grandchildren, Paul, Trevor, Sean, Stacey, Jordan and Scott as well as 3 great-grand-daughters.
A Celebration of Maureen’s Life will be held at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Victoria Hospitals Foundation – Renal Unit, #602 – 620 View Street, Victoria, BC, V8W 1J6.
