Dave, Jan, Theresa and the Louie/Poon/Siu Family Dear Helen, Bill & Alinda, Bonnie & Frank, Debbie and the Bowden Family – today will be a difficult day for you when you say goodbye to a loving husband, father, uncle, and grandpa – He was a fighter right to the end and will be sadly missed. Dave & I were fortunate to be able to see Ted in Palm Springs over the Thanksgiving holiday last year and will always have fond memories of him.
I’m sure we will all think of Ted when we see something in the near future that he would want to sell at the swap meet – so Ted, even though you aren’t here, your spirit will always be close by!
Our sympathy and love from all of us – Keep the memories flowing –

Alan Pratten my first meeting with Ted was 25 years ago in Nanaimo, I realized that this man was special then and he has been a friend, a mentor and an inspiration to me ever since. Of course when I met Helen I discovered what it was that made him special. Having them in my life has been like have a 2nd home. He touched a lot of hearts and he will be sorely missed by many people. We need to celebrate his life well lived and remember him for the wonderful man he was. My condolences to Helen and the family. Thanks for everything Ted!

Dear Helen and family,
My heart goes out to you Helen. We haven’t been in touch for a while and I am sad to read the news about Ted. He was generous with his time, sharing photos and dates and interesting stories of Nelson and Helen for the family tree, by phone and internet! He spoke with great pride about his family. We all enjoyed his sense of humour and energy at the reunions! He was a special guy.
With Love, Ellen
