Michael John Russell born in Sidney B.C. on Mar. 1, 1965 died peacefully Aug. 18, 2013 in the renal unit at RJH. Michael is lovingly remembered by his mother, Wendy; his brother, Paul & his wife Chelsea; and Paul’s son, Zachary & his mother, Sue. He is also remembered by his Aunt Rosemary Wells; his Uncle Jim Russell; & family in the U.K.,his cousins, Adrienne MacAulay & her family,& Hilary White & her family. Michael is predeceased by his father, Peter Russell.
The family wish to thank Lena & the staff in 4S for their compassionate care of Michael & special thanks to Michael’s Auntie Lynn.
There will be no service at Michael’s request. Donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA.

I was truly saddened to hear of Michael’s death.
I will always think of Michael as when I met him many years ago with Hilary, he was the little cousin with the cute smile and the big heart. He will be sadly missed.

April McLean Very sorry to hear of Mike’s death. He was a good friend to brother Glenn for years, and well known and liked to all our family. He was a kind fellow, always with a warm smile and ready laugh. My Mum Pamela thought a lot of Mike and enjoyed the fact he was a LaBatt’ s Blue fan like herself.
