Heaven just got a little brighter and a lot more beautiful.

Misty Lynn Marian Pakos was born to Darren and Diana Cormier and spent most of her life in Victoria, BC. She met the love of her life, Jordan Pakos, in middle school. They married in 2013 and, two years later, welcomed their beautiful daughter, Marlow.

Marlow was the centre of Misty’s world. She was a devoted and loving mom who cherished the life they shared together and was incredibly proud of her daughter. Some of their favourite moments were the simple ones, like baking together and making slime, creating memories that will always be treasured.

Misty was a loving younger sister to Sasha and cherished her niece, Natalya. She was also blessed with loving in-laws, Ed and Gabriella; a dear sister-in-law, Delena; and a beloved niece, Ariella, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She was fortunate to have many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved her dearly.

Misty treasured her home life and the time she spent with her family, including her beloved pets, Griffin and Odin. She also cherished her time with “the girls,” friendships that had remained strong and close since middle school.

Misty dedicated 26 years to her career at Royal Jubilee Hospital, where she excelled in her work and became a mentor and dear friend to many. She made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Misty will be remembered for her infectious laughter, wonderful silliness, fierce love of family, and endless capacity to love and care for others. Her warmth, kindness, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate care Misty received during her stay at Royal Jubilee Hospital.

An informal gathering to celebrate Misty’s life will be held on September 26, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. at 284 Kerwood St., Victoria, BC.
