Joanne, Lois and Bob and families. We were very sorry to hear of Mona’s passing. I am glad that she enjoyed the Kensington and I know my Mom was happy she moved there. Those prairie girls live a long life. To your memories, may they all be of happy times.

My condolences go out to Mona’s family – she always spoke proudly of you. I treasure the many years of friendship we shared through the Canadiana Costume Museum and the Embroiderers’ Guild. Mona also belonged to our Victoria Lace Club for awhile. She offered freely of her skills and always encouraged my endeavours in needlework. Margaret

My condolences on the loss of your beloved Mona. I have many fond memories of Mona through our association with the Embroidery Guild of Victoria, sharing happy times at various functions including the yearly retreat at which we shared a room on several occasions. We also attended the Quilters Guild together for a short time. Mona had a keen sense of humour and was gifted in all aspects of the needle arts. She truly was a treasure. Sandra
