It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Mora McWilliams. She has gone to be with her husband, “Micky”, who predeceased her by 19 years. She leaves behind her daughter, Colleen Noren (Dave); son, Terry (Julie); grandchildren, Brad Noren (Lori) and Liana Foley (Kris) and her great-granddaughter, Isla.
Mora (Muldrew) was born and raised in James Bay. She worked many years at Spencer’s Stores. She was a member of the Craigflower Women’s Institute and a volunteer at Victoria General Hospital. Mo loved to travel and tend to her garden. She cared deeply about her family, was generous and had an attention to detail that shone through in her crafts. We loved her wit and her fiery Irish side.
We wish to thank her wonderful caregivers, Mal and Erlinda, who were so loving to Mom. We would like to thank Dr. Rosenberg and his staff, as well as Hospice, for their wonderful support and for comforting her.
There will be a Celebration of Life for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice or a charity of one’s choice in Mom’s memory may be given if you wish.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
